What Is an ARC Reader?

ARC stands for Advance Review Copy. ARC readers receive a free early copy of a book before it’s officially published — in exchange for leaving an honest review on Amazon, Goodreads, or wherever they normally share book recommendations.

No purchase needed. No experience required. Just a love of reading and a willingness to share your honest thoughts.

What Book Are We Launching?

The first book in the Martin Adventure series:

“Martin’s Adventures: 24 Days ‘till Christmas: A Dragon’s Tale of Holiday Traditions and Origins”

Martin decides to create an Advent calendar about the origins of holiday traditions. This 24-short-story compilation is part of Martin’s Read and Quest program and includes activities to complete after each story. There is a free Activity Book / Classroom Workbook included with each book. This is provided as a downloadable PDF.

Who Is This Book For?

This book is for families who want holiday traditions to feel like an adventure, not a history lesson. Parents who are looking for a screen-free, 24-day countdown that sparks real “why” questions, teachers and librarians wanting a fun, culturally rich read-aloud for December, and curious readers who love quirky facts and a mischievous dragon narrator. The history is real, but it’s delivered with Martin’s humor, heart, and (frequent) sneezed fire — not a textbook.

The stories are written for readers ages 7–11, but the activities — coloring pages, crafts, and quest challenges — are family-friendly enough for younger siblings (age 3+) to join in too.

• All initial ARC Readers will be offered first looks at new “Martin’s Adventure” books.
  • The manuscripts for “Martin’s Adventures: A Trip to Mazatlán” and “Martin’s Adventures: Travels in Cambodia & Vietnam” have already begun.

What We Ask in Return

• Read the book by the review deadline
• Leave an honest review on Amazon and/or Goodreads after publication
• Share on social media if you feel moved to (never required, always appreciated!)
